Chesterhouse Hotel, Douglas 3*

The Chesterhouse is located on the impressive seafront of Douglas and has 67 rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. Offering a full range of modern facilities and accessories, The hotel is also close to the town centre - which offers extensive shopping and a variety of bars and restaurants.

 

 

DAY 1 Morning departure for ferry from Heysham to Douglas. Continue to Douglas for 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast

 

Whilst on the Isle of Man, the following programme is included;

 

· Head north to Laxey to visit “Lady Isabella”, the world’s largest working water wheel. We also include a ride on the Snaefell Mountain Railway to the island’s highest point at 2036 feet. We then continue to Ramsey, the main town in the north of the sland

· Morning free in Douglas. We enjoy an afternoon visit to the pleasant town of Peel with its impressive castle and harbour.

· A visit to Castletown, a historic town and the ancient capital of the island with a beautifully preserved castle. Afterwards we travel along the island’s south coast to Cregneash Village Folk Museum, and, nearby the pretty bay and village of Port Erin.

DAY 5 Early breakfast for return crossing to Heysham. Expected arrival home, early evening.
